I think im stepping over to the dark side again
Over the weekend in swell far toooo big for the fish i decided to dust down my sponge after not using her for over a year, and boy was it fun fun fun fun. So now i think im a little hooked as have shunned the boards in favour of my sponge for tonights little jaunt.

Any 1 got any suggestions about stopping fin rub which was actually bleeding last night???

Ya i kinda miss sponging its just that i cant get off my surfboard nah im waiting for the surf to get at least to the 8ft realm before i even consider taking my custom x out. My idea is when its too big to go surfing(not expereinced enough to ride big waves) im grabbiing my bodyboard and going to carve up some monsters Im really looking foward to taking off deep on a 12 ft moster come on surf where are you.

if you are getting fin rub it probably sounds like ya fins are too loose. Try using fin socks that usually takes care of it. it could also be that some sand/shell got in the fin. Again fin socks will take care of this but if you dont have any try putting your fins on in the water and do not walk with em on.

Just wear a normal pair of clothes socks if you hanvn't got any neopreen ones.

My fish ( actually my kookness) does not allow me to surf anything that is big or hollow, I did buy a proper shortboard but its just a little too short.
Looking good for a bit of sponge action this afternoon 10.5ft @13 secs 20mph offshore-NICE!
