I was wondering how do you personally fix dings because my shortboard I recently took out of the shed seems to have the nose fiberglass peeling off and the tail which foam is kind of sticking out.
What type of thing of formula ding repair tube should I purchase? I heard of suncure and would they sell this at a surf shop in the mall such as T&C or Local Motion?
While they finish drying what type of sand paper should I use I tried the 200 stuff with my 7"4 and it wouldn't take off the resin that well would a 100 be better?

I don't know much about fixing dings because I usually use duct tape, or do a cowboy jobbie with superglue, newspaper and matchsticks, but I have repaired a few dings properly (hahaha well, I say they were done properly)
You can buy ding repair kits with resin, glass mat, mixing container, sandpaper, etc already made up for you with instructions in them.
If you don't want to do that, I would suggest using very fine sandpaper to smooth down your repairs.
But anyway, all that drivel means absolutely nothing, so I suggest you ask kitesurfer what to do cause he's good.

Hey dude, from your brief description it sounds like you might be able to fix the tail with suncure although personally i've never used it as i have all the stuff for making boards from scratch anyway. The nose fibreglass peeling off sounds abit more serious though. Can you take some photos then we could give you some more specific advice?

I have a question on those Sun Cure stuff since all you have to do is pour it on and spread if around. I found a nice site which has shown me what to do but where do I purchase a cover slip? It covers the ding which helps it dry and smooth it out while drying I guess. Does this coversheet come with the Sun Cure?

I think you can buy the suncure separately or in a kit.
I got a kit from the local surf shop that came with a tube of suncure, popsicle sticks, fiberglass cloth, fiberglass strings for fins (I forget the actual name), scissors, a foam block (for filler), two grades of sand paper, Metal sanding sheet, plastic gloves and a small sheet of plastic. I'll try to get the name of the kit (I'm at work now; shhhh).
Pretty much everything you need for a tiny ding to something more serious.
You could just use saran wrap for your cover sheet; it's pretty much the same thing.
