Surfing Waves

ARGH! Some unpredicted swell brought lush overhead, clean hollow waves to this surf contest today. So I entered, got some amazing rides, barrels, airs etc. 1st heat I won with two 8's and a 7...And the 2nd heat I apparently got beaten by some kook who could barely cutback!?!

I reckon its rigged! He must have payed the judges. I mean I was throwing some serious moves I didn't even know i could do?!..and there he goes, riding it straight..falling off.

was it a local surf club comp? i doubt he paid them off, sounds more likely that the winner of your heat was gonna be facing someone favoured by the club in the next heat, hence put the duffer through and give their guy an easier heat.
