There can be during summer I think, not the man eating kind though. Actually they're everywhere in the UK, even saw some ins cotland a few years back.

Apart from thoses little buggers, something like weedle fish that sit in the sand and absolutley kill if you get stung. I was at this beach in south devon a few years ago and you had to wear shoes all the time because te sand was infested with these little nippers. I got stung by one at st.ives once ... but yeah, not as bad as jelly fish.

ahh weever fish, they are evil little buggers apsolutly agonisingly painfull if you step on one

best thing to do is stick your foot in a bowl of hot water as hot as you can handle it to get rid of the pain

ahhh weaver fish little f**ckers!

I got stung in perranporth so badly my foot swelled up...a weaver fish sting hurts a lot more than the jelly fish stings you can get in this country

we do get weaver fish here sometimes but ive never seen them. jellyfish seem to come in swarms, every now and again youll see loads of them but most of the time none. And most of the little ones cant sting you anyway, especially as a lot of the ones that come near the beach are already dead.

Theres a few sharks there too. Just to make your trip more exciting.
They aren't the man eating kind though.. Lots of jellyfish though.
When I went to Cornwall, I was paddling out and pulled out a jelly fish in my hand
