I'd be interested to have more information on what it is actually trying to find out..

well, what i am looking at is generally to do with people's views on things like power, speed aggression, body shape, ability and fear and things like that. I want to see how these impact the way people surf and how they view themselves and others as a result. the general questions in the survey will help me find out how serious and commited people are to surfing and wether or not they are "fashion surfers" or or genuine hard core nuts. And if men and women have similar or contrasting views of eachother and themselves... crazily i am doing this under the title of "geography" with the notion of the body as the smallest "space" that can interact and be in or out of "place"...... that really does sound like a load of mumbo jumbo but i will be happy to share the end result in about 9 months lol!

any ideas or help are appreciated!
cheers, steph

p.s thanks for changing the web address

Top of the page has this:

Copy and paste this into word, fill in / highlight your answers and email it back to the address at the bottom as a word document.

slightly off topic but there are like a bazillion free online survey generators you could use to make your market research easier to acess and complete online.

Thanks

So its more the human geography element, kind of human soical stauts in relation to leisure activities in a give location... I think I kind of get the idea, I'd have to read your intro and methodolgy to get it totally :p

indeedy!!! i'm not one for the physical geography....how be ye so knowledgeable on the subject?

p.s methodology conists of: at some stage over summer holidays go to newquay, dish out questionnaires, do an ethnography and interview any willing bystander!

with this in mind i trodled off to newquay and it rained heavily for 4 days... the beaches were empty and there were no bodies to watch, question or anything else..... and so i returned home with only a few hours of choppy surfing under my belt and a stinking cold :-(
