i want a shortboard !

Postby livelovesurf33 » Sun Aug 20, 2006 8:17 pm

i have a question : should i buy a shortboard?
i started surfing last yar and loved it. this year , i've improved a lot and i'm able to turn and im learning to wall ride. i bought a board in the beginning of the summer. it's 7'2 and a fun shape. the only problem is .. i hate the way it rides. this is because its not fun for me and i can't ride as well on it as i can on my friend's shortboard.
do you think i should trade my boring board in for something shorter? :?:

Maybe you've grown out of your training wheels? Did you have a plastic piece of whatever before?? Get a proper 'all growd up now' board aye. go on. shout yourself.

I wouldn't trade it in! Keep your longer board for those smaller days! Yeah, but it's good to have a shortboard too, so go get yourself one!

If you can ride you're friend's board well; why not get something like that?

El timmo's right.... If you can afford to, keep your funboard for the more mushy or smaller days.... Your bored with it at the moment, but i bet you'd miss it soon enough.
