just wanted some feedback on this surfboard design

i painted it with oil based paint..

Can you tell me a bit more about your paints etc? Did you lacquer it? And will it stay on...? Okay, guess you dont know yet, but I'd be interested to find out.

it should stay on i did a little sample with the same paint on my old board and took it out maybe 6 times and havent noticed it fading or scratching off or anything. i also tried water based paint witch scratched off under my nail.

i didnt coat it with anything. however, i did this on the top of my board as you can see, because when it dries it feels really rough like a very fine sand paper, maybe like a 600 point sand paper, and i was worried it would create drag in the water if i put it on the belly.
