it was a weird swell that brought in a 6-8ft face waves that were perfecto. I probably had the best bodyboarding session of my life. Most notably it was the day i pulled off a 1080. It was also the day i survived an epic wipeout
But to be honest the best ive had was about 3 days ago when i finally trimmed a wave for the first time on my surfboard

i was totally stoked.

Been fairly flat here, though we had some nice shoulder to head high roll in the middle of June. Been mostly waist to ankle since then.
Of course today it's waist to shoulder, and I'm hacking out a lung due to some sinus infection.

it was about 4ft-5ft and clean, it was about 6 in the morning and the winds were off shore and there was only a handful of people out at saunton, it was amazing, the morning after the set waves were about 6ft, maby a bit bigger and its was a bit choppy, but still fun.

Rather than a best surfing day iv had an awesome surfing week.
Most of July the waves were kinda flat. But now its picking up to about 4-5ft . Iv been catching some good waves recently and im on a totally stoked high

. But soon enough it will be flat again so i'll have to make the most of it while its still here

I spent a few weeks in cornwall and had some awesome seshs at porthtown 2ft clean and on a windy day found some shelter at godrevy and it got up to 5ft (almost head high) mission of a paddle out though!! But then ever i went to the more famous beachs like fistral, sennon, etc it got small or blown out!!
