Surfing Waves

Hello. I am a newbie at surfing and have been renting boards for a few weeks now. I saw a local ad that was selling a 8'6 Chuck Vinson Longboard for $200. It seems to be in good shape from the pictures.

What do you guys and gals think? Is it a good deal? I don't know anything about Chuck Vinson. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

sorry never heard of the shaper, however I think before buying it you should definately go down to the surf shop and have a look at it...
