Surfing Waves

I know this post is gonna frustrate the hell out of everyone who doesn't live by the sea, but here is my dilemma.... (woe is me).

I have 2 hours of surf time, which will commence directly after I finish writing this message.

Do I....

a) walk out of the door and surf on the beach that is a 59second walk away, but looks really choppy and blown out...

b) begin a 15 minute walk to another beach which is more sheltered and will boast cleaner surf...

??

59 second walk from the beach and in Newquay now that is quality! I envy you

id say B. i HATE blown out messes

15 min walk, or a 10 muinet slow jog, blown out stuff is horrible

hmmm being a lazy ass myself hmmm .. is this kinda " against the babysitter clock ?! " .. cause i'd normally go for the 15 minute walk i reckon but if you really do only have an hour or so and 30-45 mins will be taken up having a wander then i'd go for blown out fun for an hour+

I would if it were me i would choose option A. I would walk down to the beach set up my kite and kitesurf till the sunsets and not worry about driving anywhere!

if I only had 2 hours of surf time, I might probably for for A because
1. I am lazy, so walking 15 minutes is as good as walking for an hour
2. 15 minutes each way means it's really 1 1/2 hours' surfing time... not really enough anyway!

I'd go with B myself.

im gonna throw in a wildcard and say you went for " C" .. walked into town headed for the best pie shop on earth then mooched around the corner to the little Headz shop ..nice people for a chat ..and then wandered down to the harbour to blag a free chuffchuff trawler ride

ive had so much uni stuff to sort out this week ive missed most of the surf, gonna get up at 4am tommorow and head to saunton though hopfully catch the last of the swell before it drops off and goes flat for a month

I'd go B myself; To me, an hour of quality surf is worth 3 hours of frustrating non-surf... That's how I see it... THough I do admit, I'm tempted to go along with the 'C' option too

I am so ridiculously lazy at walking so I chose to amble to the blown out surf.

Special award also goes to Cheezee and Kitesurfer, but Cheezee changed his mind and thought I'd be getting myself a free boat ride (actually I have one in lieu but I'm saving it for a later date) and Kitesurfer was actually just thinking about Kitesurfing
