If it was local only, then means you have to be a local to surf there + your not a local if your asking people for the spot + its local only so only locals would know, so why would they post it on a public forum?

you dont realy get local only beaches that much anymore, and the ones you do if your not a local be prepared to have wax melted all over your car and bricks thrown at you

I have a locals only beach, but we use acid, not wax.

The section of real estate between San Pedro and Palos Verdes harbors one of he most heavily localized surfable domains anywhere.

So head up to Lunada Bay...

i am getting fed up of random people just coming from everywere to surf shitty south coast waves, theirs not enuf room normaly

Boscombe hardly counts as a local's spot does it?

I dont like bournemouth/boscombe either, partly because of the crowds.... but there's plenty of other spots on the south coast.

i know its not a local spot, but the main places i can to get to because of my age is bournmouth and boscombe so i cant go to other south coast spots. the thing is on sunday it got so crowded 40 people were taking off from the same peak, it was insane, and most of the regulars or locals all get anoyed with the non locals, quite alot of the locals didnt bother going in for a surf, now thats just wrong, not wanting to surf your local breack.

Dude the problem with bournemouth is there are so many surfers here, how do you know who is a local and who isn't? There are way more than 40 surfers locally. I surf there and you surf there but i bet neither of us knows what the other looks like so does that make me and you non-local to each other?
Use of the term regular as you've used is probably the best term. There are better places to surf and i'm sure once you can you'll be driving to them yourself. Boscombe is just a busy spot, recomend you take up kitesurfing for those windy blown out boscombe days and head down to southbourne.

I do not like the term REGULAR, I live in the Poole/Bournemouth area and used to surf there a lot, however nowadays not so much.
Does that make me a non local!, I don't think so...

It is just as much my local as anyone elses.

That's exactly my point, there are loads of locals who only surf occasionally and have all the rights to surf there as much as everyone else the term regular was just to describe the people in the line up who surf there on a regular basis.

i can see what you mean, there arnt any realy locals at bournmouth n boscombe, but i can think of a little group of locals, terry crump and them lot, and at boscombe, that aussi life guard, sean, beaver, jersy mike, thoes are about the only real locals, but as for the joniors youvgot mike, sam and tom, luke,jodi, miles and me. that is the local locals, but their are too many people to say their are locals, i think we all are just regulars.
