Hello, I am a newbie....

...to these boards, but I have been surfing for 17 years, so I thought I would introduce myself.
I learn't to surf on the Gower, then got some work in Bude for a few years, managed to get over to the west coast of Canada for a year (Tofino) then sadly hit London for three years, but now I am living in Bracklesham (its not Pipeline but its better than nothing !).
I make money by designing websites and playing in a band. You seem like a friendly bunch so I hope I will enjoy it here.

Im down there a lot in winter, as Im stuck in london at the mo. So as soon as the autumn swells kick in, we'll probably get to meet

She cant be that bad if shes offering to give away a beer, by the end of my second year i was probably huddled in a corner stroking my last can of beer and muttering "my precious" to it.

Hey Matt welcome to the forum. I live in the south east and I might be round that way when the surf's better. I'm just a beginner so I'll be the one wiping out most of the time or not really getting anywhere!

Thanks guys, I will look out for the purple van ! I am usually riding a fluid juice longboard at Brack, which has blue concentric curves on it, but if by some miracle, the surf is decent I will be on my gulf stream fish.
