Been looking at waterproof digi-cameras, we so need to get one before the next meet! :D

There's loads out there that are 'quite waterproof' - okay to 3m, so dont need a bulky housing, but would be fine for taking surf shots at saunton etc (dont think they'd be up for pipeline)

Only a bit more expensive than a normal one - so that goes on the list of toys to buy.

Oh, and then we can have SW meet movies too! :D

I was looking for waterproof cameras before, they are around £200-£300 for a good digital one waterproof to up to 5ft. They were all too expensive for me so I bought that cheap wrist strap camera. Its just a standard camera with housing and you reload it with film when you run out, £16 - cant go wrong.

But I would like a proper digital one with a high spec,

hmmm its looking likely that cheeZer is about to cane his card for £300 next week 8)
send me any useful links youve got db' .. still not sure a digi is totally needed as its no real hassle to run off scans etc ...and for the money i would get a good waterproof normal cam for about £150 last time i was looking ...hmmm ... decisions decisions ... someone chuck me some plus reasons for digi other than just the ease of transfering images ... i need to weigh all this up i reckon :D
