board short weather for the uk

last week when it was realy sunny i went out in a rash vest and board short, and to be ohnist it wast to cold, when their were no waves i was pretty cold, but because it was sunny it was niche and warm. is it boardshorts weather anywere els in the uk?

Havnt been surfing yet in boardies but have spent plenty of time in the sea arsing about in them in sunny wales.

I keep meaning to try, I DO see people surfing just in their boardies, but I've never quite mustered the balls myself... (and if I had they'd probably have receded back into my body the moment they hit the water - instant sex change style!

)

not warm enough here, i was cold in my shortie the other day. Depends on the surf tho, it was pretty flat so i was mostly just sitting there waiting for waves, if we get a decent swell in shorts will be fine, you dont get so cold when your constantly paddling.

Boardshorts in Maryland (yesterday after work). On a nice day in the afternoon, just not in the morning yet.

Theres only about 2 days a year you can go in minus wetsuit really in sunny Wales without freezing balls/nipples off. we can only hope and dream ..or move to the tropics...

lol, well iv half welsh and iv stayed in wales alot, and i must agree, its bloody freezing.

steamers are the go here in sunny sydney aus....hooray, winter swells! 5-6 foot today, so crowded though

been goin in boardies for bout 4 months l8ly coz i sort of lost my wet suit it was too bad until i got out and waitin for a wave apart from that i wasnt too bad.
