Surfing Waves

Alright was wondering if anyone has been to sri lanka and how does it compare to bali because its half the price but maybe not as consistent ,also is it still abit volatile over there.

The waves are quite consistent, but obviously not as consistent as bali. It basically is pretty much like the caribean. Nice overhead blue crumbling waves. There are some downsides...Rain / Wind in the monsoon season might call a few days off, also the instablilty of the tamal tigers.

I would suggest bali, but you could stay in a hotel in sri lanka, and not vnture too far.

(Personally of you want a culute as well as surf, thailand looks good for it. Right between the price range, cheap when your here, and it doesn't have any crazy wars going on)
