Surfing Waves

Cheaper boards tend to (not all unexpectedly) perform worse (slower)
and to be really heavy. Such as the NSP's, the Bic's etc.

However, Circle One surfboards seems to be somewhere in between the hated heavy (but cheap) pop-out, and the recommended custom-made fiberglassboard (at least pricewise)

Anybody here who knows if the Circle One boards are as heavy as the nsp's?

(An nsp fishboard, 6'4" weighs about 10pounds)

I've got a circle one board, as well as a custom board, and I like it. It's a bit heavier than the custom board, but it's also more sturdy..... still surfs nice though. Hope this helps

What are the weight of your 2 boards? Do they differ much from eachother, weightwise? =)

well one of them is in Trinidad (the 6'8" Circle One swallowtail for the smaller waves) but I can say that the difference is noticeable out of the water, but not as noticeable when you actually use it on the water. I have no problems with my Circle One board whatsoever, and I'm sure that as long as you get the right size and shape for you, you should be alright.

One thing I don't think I would be able to do with my circle one board is airs, but I can't do aerial tricks anyway, so I'm fine with that.
