For me the drop is usually the place where I fleshin' up on a wave. What about yourself? Drop? Cutback? Exit?

well once uv master the drop its gets easyer, execpt when ur tring to do big turns and you lose ballence or lean to far. but when i started i found the drop impossible cas i always looked down, but now i look along the wave its alot easyer.

the hardest part is always the bit your trying to learn next and havent quite mastered-
when you start, paddling out is hard, then you get out and realise actually catching the waves is the hard part. then you get the hang of that but cant take off consistantly. then you start doing manouvers and they seem like the hardest thing... etc.
ask someone on the wct and theyll probably tell you landing forward loop airs or getting deep in the tube at pipeline without dying are the hardest things, its all relative.

Well, I am an odd case then. I find doing many maneuvers (like cutbacks, snap turns, etc) easier than the drop itself. I think I have commitment issues.

I just LOVE the rush of a big drop!!! I found that to get over the fear, you just have to go for it over and over and get used to getting mashed if you dont make it.
That way it becomes no big deal when you do come off and you'll be prepared to take any (most) drops.

I should be used to it by now. I took a tumble a few weeks ago and ended up hugging a rock. Since then i've been a little more cautious.

Mmmmmmmm......yeah, I can see how that would put you off a little bit! I think it's a case of just getting on wih it.
Have you taken that red tape off your drawers?
Welcome to 'surfer' status :D :D
