must say,theres no way i would go anywhere near the water if i saw that doll or the rock :shock: :shock:

It's kind of like a Chucky doll, doesn't that scare YOU!

The funny thing is that only maybe 4 people surf that spot on a regular basis (and none of them are responsible for the rock).

... no no ..your reading it wrong .. its " lo-cal " .. obviously a new sugar free rock that you can eat between meals without ruining your appetite !!

Pretty colours ....

Formosan....I saw on the news a big typhoon ripping up the coastal areas in the South China Sea....did you get hit by that???

the localism here tends to be locals versus students, at one point someone painted "students die" in huge letters on the wall at the beachfront. Funny thing is most of the "locals" arrive at the beach in cars, while many of the "students" walk from there rented houses in mumbles a few hundred yards away.

We only got one day of decent swell off that typhoon. I imagine the west coasters got some decent waves off of it - however it will probably be the only waves they get until next time a typhoon heads up the straits.
