it took me a while to get all these boards, but i finally feel that my quiver is complete, until i start surfing those giant bombs, but i live in Florida so i would have to travel and that wont happen.

my boards:
5'10 Al Merrick Sashimi (single wing swallow tail)
6'1 Portmann Rasta (rounded pin, glass on fins)
5'8 custom Surf Perscriptions quad (bat tail/felix tail quad fin)
6'2 Hovie thruster (normal squash)

click on pics to see em bigger

my sashimi, this board is super fast and maneuverable in even the smallest stuff. ive had a lot of bad luck with it as you can see in the pictures of the back. my leash snapped once and it went in the coral rocks, and on a closeout set it flipped and slammed into my knee, now there gashes in the board and on me knee, you can still see the skin and knee hair wedged in the board..but nothing some resin can fix

ah yes the rasta, this board catches eyes, pretty much my normal board when the waves are good, turns really smooth and glass ons make it really fluid. it had some trouble in the past from its previous owner but its still sweet. has a lot of volume in the middle, and since im a front foot surfer it works great

my quad, i use this board when its perfect i can do anything on this. turns so good and it ridable in the mush, glides over anything. its actually really stable in large surf cause its so fast and the fins are on the outside so its easy to turn. a lot of volume and width to compensate for its length, which do really well. this board is really unique and it works great in any condition from ankle high dribblers to head high bombs. i love it

the normal thruster squash tail. i use this board for the bigger waves when i need the length. since im 6'0 and 165 this is actually the length of board i SHOULD be riding as my normal board, but i like the smaller boards so i can move around. dont get me wrong, this stick rules and has tons of drive, but needs a big wave to get it going

well thats my quiver, hope ya enjoy it

very true doug. i might save up for a longboard in the far future...kinda blew all my wad on this set. i figured the quad can substitue for those small days. a true collection would be pretty sweet. one of my buds just bought a perfect glass traditional fish the other, im so jealous.

but these are the boards i prefer, i like the speed and maneuverability of these boards in the same conditions as compared to eggs and mini mals...those are beginner boards to me. but, the collection will continue :D

ha ye, it will never be complete. There will always be something newer and better coming out + then when you have enough boards in your quiver, your going to be wanting all the different sets of fins.
