I have this 6'10 fun board that ive been thinking of selling. It has a hole near the back of it from me putting my knee in it. Other than that its in pretty good shape. Do you think I should pay to get it fixed up first, or just sell it as it is for less money??

Fix it yourself... not hard, always usefull to know and if it is a board you don't want, what better chance will you get to have a play.

ive tried to fix it myself with solar rez but it just keep cracking and taking on water. ive had it drying out for a while now. ill get more money if i payed to have it fixed and then sell it right? or is it not worth getting fixed?

If I was you I'd get the dings fixed by a pro as it would add loads of value onto the board if you sell it ready for action! Also to make it look really shiny apply a small amount of car polish add give it a quick buff up, obviously after youve removed all the wax, then hey presto 1 shiny board raedy for ebay=loads of $'s for you!

hmm, if you are going to use a buffer becareful with heat otherwise ebay=no $'s for you! As for getting it fix by a "pro", I still feel that you would be better off fixing it yourself; an experience that is simply learned and can be put into practise when really needed...

I use to buy a lot of boards to fix and resell... I always prefer to see any repair jobs how ever good or bad they maybe; stickers and paint always makes you feel a little uneasy.

There are a ton of old messed up thrusters at WRV all for like under 100, I was considering using my left over resin from my board I'm shaping to fix a couple up.

Then sell them back!

I did it for about four years (around 5 to 10 a year) but not for money; I find it fun and it was a good way to trying as many boards as I could...

yeah it would be great to do that. I'll have almost 30 oz left over, so I'll probably do a couple. I wish they had more beat up longboards and fishes in the used rack at the store, but still, it's a good idea.

I actually took it in today and the guy said he could fix it for 65 bucks! i figured that wasnt too bad considering the shape it was in.

the spot where you have the tape? Doesnt look too bad, I would be more worried about the yellowing that is to the right of it.

seems to be in good condition, I think you could flix it your self, but if you don't feel comfortable, then don't bother.
