Summer Suit vs Winter suit

I'm heading down to Cornwall next weekend and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I've been surfing in a winter suit in Wales but was tempted to role out my summer suit. When I say summer I mean full length with boots, gloves and a thermal rashie. What do you reckon? Am I being weak by putting it off?

im still in my 5/4/3 but the boots and gloves are off, the only other wettie i have is 3/2/ shorty tho. If you have a summer steamer take both, on a clear sunny day youll be ok with a springsuit type thing with short arms long legs. Definatly ditch the gloves tho.

I was surfing in cornwall for the last 5 weeks in a summer suit. Didn't bother with boots or gloves and I was ok for 4/5 hour sessions. It just depends how manly and rugged you are.

Or daft.

In all seriousness you'll be fine in a summer suit.

I spent the weekend swapping between summer and winter suits, just so I always had a dry one to put on :D

HI Bertie,

I live in Newquay, I'm still in my winter suit and boots, but I reckon you'd be fine in a summer suit, I know a few people who have already switched over.

Cheers guys, just needed a bit of coaxing. I like the idea of having a dry wetsuit all weekend though.

I'm afraid I'm not really. Not at all actually. Bertie doesn't stand for Robert, I'm a girl, but its no worries, common mistake.
