Sweet movie.

Can you catch like only the swell from miles out? Because when the ancient hawaiians did it, they usued board like it, and only caught the swell miles out.

The board catches waves very well, and can ride unbroken swells if they are steep enough, but it isn't really in the OLO board class for catching open ocean swells , I have a 19 footer to build next which should do the trick.

Thanks for checking it out

Mate nice fin setup... As for watching you surf  , its a bit to "functional" for my liking  . I think you need to build yourself something with more than "one sweet spot" just to enable you to develop a bit more style that isn't aimed at functionability :P .

Thing is Grub, there's not much point in being stylish if it means that you don't make the wave. . . . and NONE of the other riders were getting past the first takeoff section where the kneelo kicked out. . . . (this might sound strange, because whenever you see a wave being made easily it looks like an easy thing to do! ) I was making those waves because I bend all my efforts toward designing and building functional surfboards which do the job of waveriding more efficiently than boards built with style or tricks in mind. . . . . .

:D

Just a tad more than is absolutely necessary, actually the tail is just about flat, the rocker is mostly in the nose, just for paddling and taking off mainly
