Why do they call a low pressure a 'depression'? Personally I find this far more depressing....

I guess its todo with the low pressure and countours looking like a depression in 2 dimentions... I like your thinking. :p

as to the surf ..well reckon im leaving Mr. Darcy at home and gonna jump on the bike and go for a rip around :wink:

made me laugh! I agree. I've changed my plans for the weekend now. Going to do some mountain biking round the forest. Not quite in the same league as surfing but it's nice to get some sunshine :)
