yeah, indo boards are great! I just mess around on mine when I'm bored. It's good for when there is no surf or anytime really. I just roll along from one side to the next and try balance while the roller is at one end etc. Just do whatever you want really, it's great for messing about.
Check out...

Good luck

they are mainly used for balance training. If you think that when you surf you not really on your feet balancing for much of the time it helps with that aspect. After i started using one i found myself correcting my balance in situations where i would have normally fell off. well it seemed like that anyway

hey, i'm thinkin that i might make an indo-board, cause i want to work on balance a lot. Does any one have any dimensions for one, like width, length, and thickness. How big should the roller be?

that's cool that you got one, but i think it's much cooler to make one yourself. for me, it's always more fun to make things yourself, like a tree house or something, cause then, it's cooler to you.

its could also be much cheaper i cannot believe the price they charge. I think someone said earlier that if they were cheaper they could be a household item.
Everyone who has been on my homemade one has said they want one

Home made ones rule!!!! im, gonna make loads of homemade ones and sell them on for nothing but a kiss and a cuddle, and i will take the scabbing little indo-board owners over!! who is with me???!!!! actually i cant be arsed but homemade ones are much cooler, plus it doesnt matter if you break it, if ya break it you build a new one but if ya buy one and break it you spend another £100 or so to buy a new one.
p.s if anyone breaks one and buys a new one could they give me there roler??!! thats the weak point of mine! cheers!

I was in 2 minds about spending all that money on a balance board. I just tried a vew-do board at my local shop at it was awesome at half the price. Just reading up on the boards now before i make up my mind

They are awesome at teaching you how to walk a longboard. When you get good enough to walk the indo board, walking the 9-0 is easy!
Also, practice getting down in your barrel stance. It really helps out when you start to get deep and need to be as small and balanced as possible.

Cut down the cost and make your own.
I put an article together after K Mac's post about the one he made.
