Surfing Waves

i dont know why these boards are so cheap?
cananyone help me out

I think they're longer speedier boards that allow you to paddle into big ...like....actually big! waves easier, better.

Usually narrower maybe?

They look freakin cool when you watch someone cane down one huge heavy on one.

Who's done that? Tell me about it? Did you die?

Yup, you got it in one...a gun is a long, thick, narrower board, usually with three fins(although they can have one) and generally with a rounded pin tail. True guns normally start at about 7'6" long, although the shortest one i've ever seen was about 6'9". They are only good if you are a very experienced surfer, who surfs big (no make that MASSIVE) waves!!

They are cheap because they arent made for the standard conditions and they probably wont sell that many of them. So unless you are heading to Maverics or the pipe line, maybe stick to something else!

Yes....yes.... i did it and died....I am dead ....I now spend my days cruising, surfing nothing but four foot glassy point breaks and pefect beachies when its off shore with the odd tube thrown in for good measure.
