when you rack your board are the fins supposed to be at the front or at the back?

At the front pointing up - that way the rocker of the board fits over the car roof, the fins stop the boards sliding backwards, and the delicate nose bit is kept out of harms way

thanks that's what i've been doing. but my friend said that they vibrat when the fins are forward.

and i say, if i carry my board with the surfboard-fit-cover(dont know how its said, my english sucks), do it mind where i put the fins?

No not really. Just as long as they are pointing upwards.
