Surfing Waves

I live on the south coast of england and a few monthes back their was about 3 or 4 weeks with no surf what so ever, and in the 2nd week i started feeling so down, i was always modey and p*ssd off, does anyone els feel like that when they havent surfed for a while because its flat?

Yep, it sucks doesn't it.

Best thing you can do is pick up somthing to divert your attention, like mounhtainboarding or a girlfriend..

didnt surf for 3 days (flatness) im starting to twitch, yelling and just being angry and thinking about negative things
hopefully tomorrow or the day after tommorow there will be some swell.

I EXTRA suck!

I can't stand that feeling after 10 mins! When I'm IN the water! and the waves are amping!!

I've never realised how insane and illogically mad I can get. I didn't know that you could get SO wave hungry after you catch your ultimate first like... kilometer...sorry 100 mile for those last centry continents not caught up with metrics yet.. ride into shore A!

And you head back out desperate for that second euphoric hit and like.. the waves die! Your arms die! Your patience dies! You start sitting in the wrong spot so you miss waves! Little kids come talk to you and give you 'helpful' advice...

And the funniest thing is like, you're shouting out loud about how much it sucks! Ha Ha. What a lame one! Swearing my nut off..

oh. I love surfing!

Its weird....sometimes I lose track of the waves I catch. When I get out its like I dont really remember each wave individually. I mean, I remember the good 1 or 2 but maybe I caught more than that and I just dont remember you know??

I could dive when I'm not surfing or surf when I'm not diving, I'd be living happily ever after... Turned out there's this thing called "winter" in which it might rain for 3-4 days straight or winds might pick up to 15 knots. Eventually I took up indoor rockclimbing for those times when the Ocean isn't feeling very welcoming.

yeah but when theres no surf i skim board across the beach instead of at the waves and i gets boring after a while

You feel incomplete when theres no waves, it sucks big time. I drove down the beach this week in hope that there was some small waves despite what magic sea weed said. I was in a good surfing mood and when I got there there was some small ripples in the sea , that was it:(
