What is a good size begginer board? PLeAse RePly!

I am new to surfing i am decideing on two boards. A 7'6'' or 6'8'' board. They are both surfbettys from nsp. Please help :!: :D

Depends on your height/weight, but the easiest board to learn on will be about 18" - 2ft taller than you.

If you're going to be in the water day after day, then you can probably get away with a shorter board (but still with quite a lot of volume) but if you're planning on surfing less than every day, then go for the longer one. :D

i totaly agree with drowningbitbybit. the shorter the board the more work you'll have to put into getting that first ride. but if you are willing to put up with it then go for it.

My only piece of advice is to hire or borrow a mates board first, get a feel for it and if you standing on your first few tries on a short board go for it. But if you are having trouble go for the longer board, you will have more fun and you wont get as frustrated.

But as drowningbitbybit suggests, go for the longer one
