Do you or your friends have a worthy travel story that you would like to share? Awesome road trip? Dodgy accommodation? Hostile locals? Bad experiences? Recommended pubs, bars or nightclubs?
I am in the process of publishing a surfing book which has a section dedicated to real life travel stories. There is no payment involved, but you will have a great opportunity to have your story published in an upcoming surf book. Please focus your story on the cultural/localized/traveling aspect, rather than ‘how bad your mate’s driving was’. Please include as much detail as possible though.
Whether you were getting sun-burnt in Australia, watching the Pipeline Masters in Hawaii, or just getting chased by farmers in Cornwall, all stories will be considered.
Please email your story (approx 200 – 1000 words in length, no longer than 1500) along with your name, age, where you are from and the country where your story took place, also any decent digital photos to accompany the story.
