Define "A frames" when talking about waves.

I see the term "perfect A frames" used a lot in surf articles can somebody give me a good definition? :?:

It's like the shape of an "A"

:shock: OMFG I've just been staring at that top photo for ages!

Looks like the wave at the begining of September Sessions that Slater gets barrelled and does like 4-5 pumps in the barrell... and it would totally scare the s**t out of me if I was sat on the shoulder looking into the beast. You just know that is soooo shallow and one little slip, one little hiccup during take off - see ya, wouldn't wanna bee ya! :P

And, of course they won't say where it is...(not that it matters to me right now anyway :wink: )
