Theyve gone and booked a holiday in Newquay, cornwall this summer so I can go surfing :mrgreen: .

All i have to do now is to stop wobbling out there on the waves lol

lol. kool! i think im heading down their in the summer! cant wait im counting the days down. to all the guys that live by the sea you are so lucky! hopefully i will get to go surfing before summer... fingers crossed! do you get to go surfing often id rather be surfing? :D

newquay in the summer = my worest nightmare, you could prob walk to the line up across the mass of foamys in the white water

Surfaddict - i won be in the water till end of feb cos its cold n i cant afford winter gear :( but yeah,living 2mins from some wkd surf is pretty cool.

Went down to the harbour trap this evening and the surf was about 4ft and clean - I SO wanted to be out there :?

Er, water's coldest at the end of february/beginning of march... :shock: :?

Yup, come the end of february the water is staggeringly cold - instant ice cream headache when you go under :shock:

The water temp only really gets going in an upwards direction in May (but its tolerable as long as the air temp is high by april). The water temp is always a month or two behind the air temp. Thats why surfing in september is so great in the UK - the first autumn swells but lovely warm (well, warm ish) water! :D

since 1st posting this ive been out n spent a small fortune on winter suit boots gloves n rashie.
