Listening to Kimié's song and watching the accompanying video, provoked the impetus for this challenge & poll.

billie’s OFFICIAL CHRISTMAS DAY CHALLENGE
1) Go surfing or, at minimum, to the beach on Christmas Day

1,000 Steps Beach
Queenie & Sandra took me to the beach on Christmas day! This is first time out of the house for me since 11 DEC 2024, doctor's appointments excepted. They went on a beach romp with other doggies. I stayed put in camper's chair, watching the sky and sea. No surf, but all I wanted was to get to the beach on Christmas day.

1. Sun Halo most visible as arc to the right of the sun. Possible sun prism emanating from the sun at 7 o'clock position

2. Snap happy tourists from Japan! This beach is within City Limits, so it receives visitors. But, it is only a few miles from home and provides easy access to the sand

3. Passage route (strait) between Santa Rosa Island (right) and Santa Cruz Island (left). Santa Barbara Channel is between the islands and me. Passage takes you to the Pacific Ocean at large
