hi everyone. I'm a surfer from the Midlands planning on going to Oz so was just after any info regarding surfing. Cheers.

I can only really help with surfing beaches in and around sydney or noosa up in QLD on the sunshine coast, if thats of any use , just leave more details

Byron Bay is a great place to go
but it gets crowded
its in northern NSW

2nd that... I can provide info on the Illuwarra area (just south of Sydney, start of the south coast)...

I live a few minutes outside Ballina & work in Byron Bay (on the NSW north coast - as surf_nymph says..).
