I surfed with a legend!

What makes a legend, you ask? The one that can surf a board upside down and backwards? Is it the one who’s somehow magically reading the ocean, always in the right spot at the right time? Maybe the one who treats everyone like family, and somehow offers just the right advice to up your surfing skills? Or is it the one who’s seemingly having the most fun?
The Legend is all of those things. On a day I probably wouldn’t have gone out I ended up having one of the best surf days ever.

" ʻaʻole pilikia " which means "You're welcome, it was no problem at all ". Haolekook, I wish we could have surfed a few more times together.
Thank you for the kind words, but when it comes down to it, I just LOVE surfing. I want to share that love with as many people that want to try the "Sport of Kings". If it happens to be at the birth place of modern surfing, Waikiki beach, then the Mo' Bettah it is !

Me too. And I look forward to next time.
I’ve been having much more fun at Canoes since then. After realizing how easy it was to catch those little waves I’ve been taking my 8’6 out. It’s just what I needed, I love that board.
