Surfing contest in CR May 2004

Does anyone have information on a surfing contests/competitions on May 19 thru June 8, 2004?
I do not have a clue of where they could have been.
I am trying to locate a competitor in this contest who lives in the States.
Any information on the promoter, surf shop, contest locations would be appreciated.
