twinnys are a must?

Postby one0one » Wed Jul 06, 2022 1:45 am

Sup team,

who is surfing a twinny? I just got a custom eps one, a litre larger than my shortboard. ever since I try to ride it all the time. it catches waves easy, but is limited on its performance. still so much fun. i'm riding the am keels, and also the MRs without a trailor. the thing go's hard with both, although i like the keels more for speed, the MRs are a bit slippery.. I'm trying to find a more upright keel, something that turns sharper but doesn't lose traction. Not sure if there is anything.

anyway just curious anyone else out there running a twinny and with what fins

Check these out if you’re still around; seems like it ticks the boxes. I’m in the process of figuring out how to get a set.

You could try purchasing the Akila Aipa fins.

But first I would recommend putting your back foot right at the start of the swallow indent.

I found that the Mr fins are all good.. they are pretty upright..

I was struggling with the width.. I suppose its give and take performance for ease of catching and having fun..

my twinny is onnnnnnnnnnn though.. so easy to surf because of the speed.. trying a few airs even though im a kook.. its because of the speed and projection it has..

both those fins above look great.. i see the knew britt merric twins look sick too.. but for now the Mr twins are working.. !!

cheers guys..

and if you don't got a twin, try one,, i like it eps epoxy.. goes hard
