Fog

I delayed my last session due to windy surf forecasts. I finally saw a glassy report, hopped in the car, and what did I see? Fog! The bank as so heavy at my beachie that I couldn't see outside more than 50 feet or find the landmarks I normally use to get into position. For the first hour I paddled alone in the soup and missed a lot of waves. I was too far inside, too far outside or surprised by waves that broke right when I thought they were going left.

The ocean always keeps me humble!
