Apparently the Big Island of Hawaii felt most of the effects. I have heard it was worse in Chile, have not heard about west coast USA. https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2022/01/16/clean-up-efforts-underway-following-tsunami-surge-triggered-by-tonga-eruption/

West Coast USA did alright. Lots of surf. Barely any damage. A pal on Adak Island in the Alutian Islands was alert. It turned out okay up there, too.

Tonga is going to be the worst most likely I heard 2 people drowned in Peru. But there are some smaller islands in Tonga that might be wiped out. Still waiting for reports because the volcano took out the internet lines so communication is slow
