does anyone know if jesus, son of god, surfed? he could walk on water which would be handy and he could turn water into wine which would presumably mean he could turn seawater into salty wine which would taste bad but still get u drunk. i dont believe in him anyway actually. sorry if you worship him, but i reckon anyone who worships a god wot starves kids in africa is messed up anyway.

The world's geography was completely different then, he might have had a killer break nearby and being a carpenter, he might have been a fearsome local shaper, which is why people flocked to see him.

There's a lot of surfers who try to 'spread the good word' of chilling out and being nice to each other!!

The whole walking on water thing could be a metaphor for JC ripping it up at the infamous Nazareen Pipeline!

Perhaps the whole 'Son of God' could have been mistaken for 'Local Surfing Hero'!!???

Wow, blashpemy at this time in the morning!! :D

how bout we have a debate bout wether or not the best waves are in muslim countries or chistian countries...then at least we can see which god was more likely to have been into surfing; god or allah.
indo is muslim and its got sick waves. jesus and his dad dont stop sending waves there just coz they are muslims. i pray for waves tomorow, inshallah.

If I had my cynical head on I would contest the theory that JC was in fact the son of God!

However (and I'm open to correction on this) I believe that even in ancient Hawaii, surfing was considered to be almost divine and surfing in a standing position was limited to the tribal kings.

As for linking Waves to Religion, apart from being on dangerous ground, is a bit pointless the fact is that the waves are good where they are good and it doesn't matter what religion you are, if you surf, you're alright by me!!

Wow, SP, you've been so quiet for a while now, I was beginning to think you'd died.

But now you're back - resurrected if you will!!!!!!!!
