It's a surf contest on man made waves. Different. This contest is progressing I guess strategy and skill and familiarity. Finals day today
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Different indeed. I must confess I prefer watching events in natural settings. How they cope with what nature is giving them is adding an element of suspense and variation. The Ranch is a much more predictable display of skills.

Boring as anything, bad webbed, nothing much to like at all.

I am going to a surf contest on the river wave next weekend the spirit and excitement is great there than the Ranch exclusive wave!
However I am not competing, too old too oceanically orientated, not good enough and no over 70s age division ! Photos and video will follow
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

Well I found it interesting. The waves aren’t all the same but you can’t tell before you ride it and riding it changes it. It eliminates wave selection from the equation but not positioning. Kelly Slater who is most familiar with the wave did not win.
