LFT FireWire comments

Wondering if anyone can shed some insight on firewire lft boards..
I have a chance to buy a Evo LFT (at a good price) but from what I’m reading, LFT isn’t as durable as other models and that they ding/dent/snap easy?
Obviously there’s factors like the surfer riding it and type of waves etc, but I’m asking in the general sense - like will it leave heavy pressure dings on the top deck and eventually crack after 5 sessions.. or will it snap randomly on a small 1 ft day...
