Stoked that I found a surf group with a twist
Posted: Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:35 pmDue to covid, there is very limited social activity. It's always nice to have some friends to do dawn patrol with as the weather is cold and I do need some motivation. As I moved to a new area, I don't know many people.
Someone on facebook added me to a brand new group created yesterday for outdoor activities. I checked out the memberlist and wow there were 20+ women in the group and I'm the only guy. I was like I scored big time! I told my wife about it and she was like wow that must be your dream life.
I asked the group if anyone wants to go surfing and they were like due to covid, we are scared to meetup.
One other person suggested that we should do outdoor board game activities with mask and social distancing. All the other women agreed.
I nearly ragequit the group.
