Surfing Waves

Everyone been asking how to go faster on the wave. Stiffer fins, shorter board, more volume / less volume.

The answer maybe be No fins, No stringer, No hard edge, and a lot of flex. This is straight up FLYING !!

That is very interesting. But what does it mean? Matts can go fast? No doubt. There was a surfer older than me who would ride matts where I surfed. Talking to him he quit because he only thought about sharks when he was surfing where I go all the time. I would have loved to surf that wave on one of my funboards.

Coincidentally, today I passed by Rincon, where this vid was shot, and saw an awesome mat guy going pretty fast. It was almost sunset so we didn't stay too long to look at it.
