What do regulars do for work?

I am always curious what those who surf more than twice a week — indeed, for the “locals”, they surf the same spot seemingly every day! — do for work. In Santa Cruz these guys and gals don’t look retired and are in working years.

For me, I can’t surf more than twice a week due to loss of work hours.
