Hey, I was thinking about getting a waterproof digital camera to hopefully capture some pics when surfing with friends (never know what i look like surfing a wae), anyway I was wondering if any of you have one or have taken pictures when going to surf with friends, just thought it would be cool to have a surfing photo album to capture all the places youve surfed

I was wondering where the best place to buy a wterprof camera was. Play.com sell one for £50 that seems decent enough, id prefer a digital cam so I dont waste pictures and its easier to hook up to the pc. Any advice people?

well, you could get a disposable underwater cam from kodak for like 10 bucks and then just scan them

hey a friend i know who scuba dives a lot, has a case for his digital camera

You can buy different cases for different cameras, their badass too, they float so you dont have to worry about dropping it and it has some thing that ties it to you.

This is definitely what you want if you already have a digital camera. I guess you could just Google them or something.

they shouldn't be hard to find. It also takes pretty killer pictures. Good luck.

Laguna....

I have a digital camera and bought a water proof case for it and although it was quite expensive it was so worth it, i have some well nice photos and films from being in the water.....if you have a digital camera alredy try and find a case for it, i reckon it will work out cheaper than if you buy an underwater digital camera.

k, thanks for all your help, I appreciate it. I have got a decent 3mp Camera which is small so I think I will look for a waterproof case. Thanks

My thoughts are that Cameras don't generally float, so I'd rather buy a disposable and lose 10 bucks than lose my expensive digital camera and equally expensive waterproof case!!
