Should I buy? DO you recommend?

Hello!

Relatively new to surfing. Looking to buy a board to continue learning in before upgrading to something smaller and faster and also for a board that my friends can use to learn on. I found this 7 foot 6 NSP board for 100$. My only concern is the tail end. It looks like it may have scratches or dings! IS this still worth the buy? Thanks for the help!

Easy NO, good tail repair needed. It is also likely to be an EPS core which requires different resins.
It is repairable but the job may at least double your costs!

Could you give a better detailed photo of the tail. Need to see if it's just the top sheet that's scuffed up or it got past the fiberglass layer.

Those molded epoxy boards can be repaired with quite easily with 2-part putty, sanded down smooth and then semi-gloss white rattle can sprayed. ( depending on the damage and if water got into the EPS core or not )

It doesn't seem like anyone is addressing the bigger question, is that the correct board for you? What have you been surfing on and what is your beach like?

Jaffa? Chan?

He said he has a 7’2” NSP. But hasn’t actually asked for surfing help, just board buying help!

Thanks for the help everyone! After further inspection I went ahead and bought the board. I took it to a surf shop and only one small part needs minimum repair.

Thanks!
