and dont show waikikichan that guy at the end hopping his longboard like he was trying to, I dont know, smash snails or something. Might cause a strong grimace

I hate when spots like this are promoted. What will it be like a year from now?

Yeah in a year there will be hundreds of people freezing their okoles off to catch a wave every 12 hours. Hey that is a good idea. At least they won't be occupying the surf in comfortable water
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

The interesting thing about tidal bores is that they know pretty much to the second when the wave is coming. I think if you leave near a river with a bore and that's all you got to surf, then surf it!!

Most of the bores have been surfed for years, and publicized, Alaska still not many takers! :D

Maybe because the water temperature is so cold.

There is another bore in Alaska further up to the Arctic Circle from Turn Again Arm!
It was named during the time before the USA bought Alaska from Russia.
The tidal bore presented a great deal of difficulty to the explorers of the time who in order to preserve their warm seal and bear skins clothes had to wade ford and paddle through the surge naked

Name of the tidal bore Froznutzoff river
