Not rinsing the board after a surf session

Living in a big city means it's not easy to transport the surfboard around. I don't have access to water easily so there are a lot of times that I don't rinse the salt and sand off.

I understand that the fins screws can get rusty but these are all replaceable.

They only have those tap for rinsing feet. It's so low and I've made so many scratches on the board due to trying to rinse the fin when the tap is 1 feet off the ground.

I have to balance between scratching the board or rinsing the fins. Long term wise. Would I be damaging the board or fin box?

I dont rinse off my boards and they seem fine. One is over 30 years old (not that I've owned it for all of that time, but i have owned it for about 15 years).

I generally dry my board with a towel but there is a shower where I surf some of time so rinse it off at least once in a while
