Hi everyone,
I got stung by a Weever three weeks ago on the bottom of my foot and it still really hurts. Doctor google reckons this is quite unusual. Has anyone else experienced this. There weren't any spines in it.
Thanks

I know you said there were no spines, but have someone else look using a torch / phone flashlight. Things on the bottom of your own foot can be hard to see. Check there is no infection of course. Even a very belated hot water soak?
Dr Google cant be too accurate or prescribe medications so...

My guesses are not a weever fish, or you still have a spine in there or you have an infection, or you are just one of the unfortunate ones who has a wound that takes months to heal up (all from Dr Google)

Thanks both. I think I've just been unlucky. No infection I don't think as it's not hot, throbbing or itchy, the whole area just feels bruised around the whole area, not just where it's stung. I can't see anything resembling a spine at all, unless we're talking something microscopic. I could go to my GP but it takes weeks to get an appointment but as a long term north Londoners I'm not sure how Weever savvy she'll be!
