The Ulus cave, a real challenge, dry at low tide with a walk across the reef, high tide you wade and paddle within the cave and emerge to an area where on the right hand side of the the are huge coral head boulders and cliff boulders, there is a strong current out on the edge of the reef and a sweep towards the boulder field so good paddle skills are necessary.
On bigger days getting back into the cave requires good timing, miss the opening and you become engaged in a current drama that puts you at risk of being smashed among the boulders.
Several big days I have had to ride the current north to a series of beach that have ladders up the high cliffs climb them and walk back along the road to the uluwatu warungs. Happen s to many
